The 2:42 Church

The thought

One argument, returned to for forty-two years.

The teaching begins from a single conviction: that Scripture, read carefully and applied without sentiment, is sufficient for the renewal of a continent. Not a supplement to development policy — its foundation.

From that conviction the work moves outward in a consistent order. Identity first, because a people who misread who they are will misread everything else. Then the Church, as the body charged with carrying the argument. Then doctrine, leadership, stewardship, and the daily formation that makes any of it durable.

The through-line is capacity. Every book asks the same practical question in a different register: what has already been given, and what is being done with it?

  • 04

    Leadership & Capacity

  • 06

    Formation & Devotion

How is a life built, one ordinary day at a time?

The question behind the work

Is Africa cursed? The answer is written into the Scriptures, and it is not the one we were taught.
